DUDE! Have you been to GALAWAY DOWNS? What an INCREDIBLE wedding venue! Ok so before I even get started on this super rad couple let me just go over something with you about GALAWAY DOWNS in Temecula, this place is amazing. “So Bryan…why do you keep telling me this?” Well for starters the way everything is set up, they CARE about how good the pictures will turn out. There are very few venues that ACTUALLY make it a point to lay things out so that photographers have the advantage. Now, a lot of venues create pretty locales but what I’m talking about is 1. beautiful open light in an already beautiful bride / groom suite 2. knowledge of placement in accordance to the setting sun 3. an open shade ceremony location 4. a reception room with floor to ceiling windows and wood vaulted interiors…..I mean seriously I could on for days but the short truth to the matter is those who book this place will not regret it. Your photographer will have to be a complete idiot to not get good shots here and guess what… in the hands of someone experienced and creative the images will be INCREDIBLE. So with that said if you’re booking GALAWAY DOWNS TEMECULA for your wedding, go ahead and book me too HAHAHA.

So quick question. What do I enjoy the most on wedding days? The answer, time. We had a ton of time to rock some creative and amazing images for Laura and GT at GALAWAY DOWNS TEMECULA WEDDING. We started with prep at the bridal suite which is a huge three room suite with more open lighting than you can shake a stick at. It’s probably in my top 5 bridal suites I’ve been in. Once we rocked the prep we got prepared for the first look. For the first look I chose the middle section of GALAWAY DOWNS down a long dirt path with open shade and wispy grass grass lining the edges. GT was speechless when Laura walked up and what is usually a 3-5min first look turned into close to 10min hahaha, all the while I’m just letting them have their amazing moment and documenting from the sidelines getting some amazing images.

We moved into our wedding party pictures right behind where the ceremony was held and had this beautiful backlighting from the sun. This wedding party was so fun to work with and really got loose hahaha!

For the ceremony it was held right before sunset and the layout really shined here! It really seemed like I could just throw my camera in the air and any picture it took would be well lit LOL!

We used so much of the layout at GALAWAY DOWNS for the creatives. Giant tree sculptures, patches of wispy grass, the reception hall interiors and the stone edged grassy area. All of these lent themselves to some really incredible looks. Before we wrapped up I snuck Laura and GT out for about 5min for some night shots and for lack of using a better word than ” epic” well these were EPIC hahahaha. It was a fantastic night and the dance floor was jam packed. Speaking of dances…everyone knew how LOL, I mean literally everywhere I looked people legitimately knew how to dance it was so AWESOME!
