Because one can never have TOO much of the force. Even though we only had some small pops of the SW around Julea and Harrisons AVENUE OF THE ARTS WEDDING, it was enough to bring out our scruffy looking nerf herder selfs and kick ass.
One of the most amazing things about this wedding is simply the people celebrating it. I met Julea’s family a few years back at her cousins wedding and had a killer time with everyone so right off the bat I knew at the very least there would be some type of Auntie antics haha. Little did I know though.
AVENUE OF THE ARTS is located right in the heart of the business district of Costa Mesa. As you might of guessed, yes, it’s an artsy little area. Not fartsy per se. The bridal room there was very spacious and one of the better rooms I’ve seen in a while. It helps though when it’s filled with people who are having a great time, dancing and singing. First look went down in the aviary section of the hotel and the ceremony down by the water. I’m not sure weather to call it a pond or lake but it’s beautiful sooo…..does it matter?
After the ceremony we did our thing and then headed into the reception. It was there that we were force awakened, baptized into Vietnamese / Italian Disco tech and reached nirvana when aunties stormed the stage to rip off the singers shirt. It was by far the greatest thing I had ever seen at a reception and with my eyes gracing over 250 of them that saying plenty. I could not have asked for a better time, I mean I probably could have but what’s the point? It would have all been bonus to an already jackpot filled wedding.
For two of the chillest people I have ever been able to rock with, they put on a helluva AVENUE OF THE ARTS WEDDING.
