Every once in a while I get to travel up North for my Brides and although it’s quite the drive I’m always fascinated when I get out of the normal LA region HAHA! This time it was for Kelsey and David for their Monterey Beach House Wedding. I’ve never visited Monterey but HOLY #$^T is it awesome!
One of the best things about Monterey is the insanely beautiful coastal area. Surrounded by cool vintage shops and homes that stood the test of time, just exploring was an adventure. Checking out Laguna Seca Raceway was cool too for any race fans out there. In a small way Monterey reminds me of Washington.
For Kelsey and Davids Monterey Beach House Wedding we started our adventure at the Portola Hotel & Spa. This hotel is incredible but was under construction on the day so we weren’t able to use a lot of it, which was totally OK because HEY this is a beach wedding so let’s rock all the shots at The Monterey Beach House! DUH! The prep went perfect and we were really able to maximize our time at the hotel because everyone was staying there, getting the most out our time together is something I highly value and you can read more about that here 5 Ways to Maximize Your Time With Your Photographer
This was a SUPER fun wedding…and that’s kind of understating things. Not only was our bridal party kick ass but at the end we had FIRE DANCERS! Kelsey and David rocked, the wedding party rocked and I rocked HAHA!
