My first wedding of the year was incredible, this MITTEN BUILDING WEDDING was everything. Jacque and Zach..where do I start? Planning their REDLANDS wedding while graduating from UCLA must have been overwhelming! See the cool thing is though, one would never had known. That’s how calm, collect and awesome they were.

We started our day running around Redlands ( literally ) to capture that great Redlands vibe with antique shops, mom and pop stores and wonderful textures. I wanted to get a more general SoCal feeling so we headed over to the orange groves in front of Kimberley Crest as well. The time we spent together was used laughing, shooting and just taking it all in. I haven’t even mentioned the venue yet.

The Mitten Building. This beautiful rustic three level venue, oh how I miss thee haha. It was truly a work of art in itself and they did a fantastic job restoring. From a lower level full bar/ cocktail hour area, the middle reception area and the upper ceremony stage. All with vaulted ceilings and brickworks. I await the day to shoot there again.

There were so many facets of awesome to this wedding. For starters the mothers of the Jacque and Zach were the officiants. How incredible is that! Then we had two Pinkberry stations! Yes! A lot of games and dancing and to top it off, the smile on Jacque and Zachs face throughout the entire evening.

I’ll have to amend this section with the proper vendor credits when I find them but for now let me just say they did an incredible job. The Mitten Building Redlands staff was killer.  BUT most importantly I never saw Jacque and Zach without a smile on their face. Thats what I love.
