What an incredible LACMA ENGAGEMENT this was! Maegan and Anthony came across to the US from the Philippines to attend their besties wedding ( which I also shot a few days after this ) and contacted me so we can rock some AMAZING engagement pictures!

We wanted to maximize their time with me so we picked a few places in DTLA that were relatively close to each other and offered completely different looks. We first met up at LACMA right before it opened. The key to getting the banger shots here is to go on a weekday in the morning. There is no one there to get in the way and you still get to use that gorgeous morning light. Our LACMA ENGAGEMENT was off to a great start! When we finished up there I made the suggestion that we walk over to the Peterson Automotive Museum. Driving up in the morning I took a wrong turn which put me right on the corner of this museum and immediately I knew we had to rock this wavy red building of awesomeness. The deep fire engine red mixed with the sheet metal would be a great segue into the Disney Concert Hall and compliment the story well. With Maegans INCREDIBLE custom made dresses she flew in  from the Philippines and Anthony cool demeanor we bring the house down.

I’ve said it many time before and I’ll say it yet again, Walt Disney Concert Hall and the square block around it IS the best area for engagement photography. There is just too much goodness around there and I always find new and creative ways to use what most others simply just overlook. We started right out front to get that nice wide and set the scene, again early morning = no people no problem 🙂

We made our way upstairs to use the garden area and a few of my other favorite spots there. Maegan had changed into this AWESOME Emerald Green gown and her and Anthony just kept on rock-n and rollin! So I did what I do best and just kept on shooting HAHA. To end our LACMA ENGAGEMENT we took to the streets to get some AMAZING shots of them walking past the city and then found a great nook to rest up on the stairs behind the Concert Hall.

This was an EPIC journey and I am so blessed to have crossed paths with Maegan and Anthony! I had an incredible amount of fun!
