Oh man Stephanie and Andrews HANFORD COURTE SUTTER CREEK WEDDING was AWESOME! SUTTER CREEK is right in the heart of Gold Country and was founded in the 19th century ( hows that for some history! ). Surrounded by wine regions, old gold mines and the cutest damn town I had ever set foot in. If you’re an antique hunter look no further but be sure to bring a truck! The next time you’re out near Yosemite you should definitely stop by.

Stephanie and Andrews HANFORD COURTE WEDDING started off at their grandparents ranch style home. The access we had in and around the area was sooo good and gave me exactly what I was hoping for, beautiful sweeping hills and aged trees. You mix that with how amazing they were and you get pure gold.  As I always like to do, I set out on the details first. It is SO much better to get these done right off the bat as opposed to later. I’ll preach this in every story if I have to hahaha! By having all of the rings, shoes, dress and accessories in one area we can easily save 5-10 minutes of running around trying to gather everything, and I loved walking into Stephanies VRBO and seeing everything in one area! This let me spend more time on candids and some robe shots which were AWESOME!

In almost every single wedding I HIGHLY recommend a MODERN FIRST LOOK  but in some circumstances you can get away with a traditional and STILL have a TON of time for pictures. An early ceremony time was key because this allowed us to get through family pictures, get in the car and head up the hill to have some fun!

What I loved so much was how easy going these two are. If anyone who has worked with me knows, I’m definitely laid back and like to have fun. SO our characters meshed super well and that my friends is chemistry to get INCREDIBLE images. When my couples trust me we make magic in a special way hahaha when my couples don’t ( which is rare ) we just make regular magic HAHA. Like a David Copperfield VS David Blaine! Either way we get great stuff but the journey to get there is different.

HANFORD COURTE is an incredible venue nestled off the path right past town. It has three areas with MORE than enough to work with and we worked it! The reception area is this nice open shade area surrounded by trees with a stage. It’s positioned beautifully for that afternoon light all the way down to golden hour, and the color that comes through those leaves…speechless.
