” Our heritage and ideals, our code and standards – the things we live by and teach our children – are preserved or diminished by how freely we exchange ideas and feelings. “
~ Walt Disney ~
As a huge Disney fan myself for well as long as I can remember, growing up with the ideals and imagination that Walt sparked had a profound change in my life. Hell even today, although I do prefer the classics, they still churn out great messages in a way that children and adults can understand them. The day I met Brooke I knew we were going to have a great time together. In a classic example of what I always talk about ( chemistry ) we hit it off immediately. Us Disney fans have a way with knowing, sort of like a Disney ESP if you will, who we’ll get along with haha! Brooke and Brian’s GLEN TAVERN INN WEDDING although not Disney themed was still as fun and enchanting as being in the Sherwood Forest singing with the animals.
GLENN TAVERN INN is up in the small rustic town of Santa Paula. The Inn itself is beautiful and to the point. They say it’s haunted and Ghost Hunters even did a show there, but most of the stuff you’ll find online about it is either orbs or bad light leaks in camera. It’s a great prohibition era INN no doubt though.
It’s a pretty rad place full of boutique shops, old train stations and mainly good ol folk that don’t want the hustle of the big cities. Being there transports you back in time a little, think Back to the Future 1 as opposed to Back to the Future 3 if that makes sense.
I’m gonna let you in on a secret, I get to spend my days telling stories of two people madly in love. Isn’t that amazing! And as a bonus I get to do it with my own creative energy. This was a tad off topic but it just popped in my head thinking about how Brooke and Brian looked at each other throughout the day. When you see it, you know, and they knew. Being around this is infectious and also humbling to see so many family and friends having a kick ass time, not only with the bride and groom but with other guests. It’s so rad to look around and not see cliques of guests. The entire day was leveled up because of it and you could tell when that dance floor opened. I can’t recall the last time I had seen that many people dance for that long! Brooke and Brian’s GLEN TAVERN INN WEDDING was incredible.
