What was not to love about this wedding? Wave House venue – check, beautiful San Diego weather – check, staying at the Bahia Resort – check, a kick ass bride and groom who like to party – check and check. Seriously, it was awesome. Mission Beach is easily my favorite area of SD to go to because of the fun boardwalk at Belmont Park, the beach a couple hundred yards from that and the killer chicken wings from Wave House. Oh it’s also close to LegoLand and SeaWorld 🙂

Ashley and Gabe could not have planned a better wedding. We started the night prior with a super rad shoot of the bridal party in robes hanging out on the bed posing and pillow fighting hahaha. It was great because when you’re able to do that it tends to break the ice with everyone and on the wedding day everyone is familiar with one another and not a stranger LOL.

The following morning Ashley was done right with hair and makeup by Feather&Fox. Peggy did an incredible job, so good in fact that I literally refer all of my clients to her. Check out her work and visit her site.

The highlight of the day was easily when we were able to use the carousel on the boardwalk for wedding party pictures. We had to buy tickets but it was so worth it. I think the only thing that could have topped that is if they were to let us go on the roller coaster. A few issues with that was 1. Ashleys hair would have been destroyed haha and 2. they don’t allow cameras on the ride……

I could go on for days about how much I enjoyed being a part of Ashley and Gabes San Diego Wave House adventure but I won’t hahaha I’ll let the images do the talking 🙂

And a BIG CONGRATS to them for the new addition to the family! Lil Audrey is super cute and so blessed to have cool ass parents like yourselves!
