Okay so Im a little behind on my blog these days but in the next month or two I should be nice and caught up haha.
Last year I had the honor of shooting Victoria and Travis wedding in Washington. It was such a beautiful and peaceful day. Its hilarious how every time I visit Washington the weather is better than here in California ( which is definitely a reason Id love to live there one day ).
Victoria and Travis were married at Travis parents house on the lake. I was there for three days helping out, shooting rehearsals and finally their vows. It was incredible.
Victoria is a chef, writer, food photographer and local & organic food advocate. She spent her days leading up to the big day creating her cake, appetizers and the whole shibang! You can see her blog here http://www.thehoneydumpling.com/
I couldn't believe how incredible the scenery was at Travis parents house. For the first look I took them to a nook that was up the river. You could sense the romance of the area and it almost seemed like it was made especially for the newlyweds.
Because the reception was outdoors in extremely low light I decided to bring my AlienBee B800, Vagabond mini and a 36inch strip light rather than my flashes. It worked out just how I planned and made for some very intriguing lighting situations.
These two. Incredibly nice, loving and most of all great friends. I cant wait to visit Seattle again.
